Key Responsibilities
Document Preparation: Removing staples, sorting, arranging, and preparing documents for scanning.
Scanning Operations: Operating scanners, adjusting settings, and scanning documents into specified formats (PDF, image).
Quality Control: Checking scans for clarity, legibility, proper alignment, and completeness; performing quality checks to minimize rescans.
Data Management: Systematically naming, indexing, and organizing digital files for easy retrieval and storage.
Equipment Maintenance: Regularly cleaning and maintaining scanner equipment for optimal performance.
Security & Handling: Handling sensitive information with confidentiality and securely storing physical documents.
Filing & Archiving: Managing digital filing systems and sometimes handling the proper disposal or return of original documents.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Basic computer skills and familiarity with document management software.
High School Diploma/GED often required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of confidentiality protocols (especially with sensitive data).
