A Document Controller is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all company documents in a systematic and secure manner. The role ensures accuracy, proper filing, easy retrieval, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and format documents as required
Maintain and update physical and digital document files
Ensure proper filing, labeling, and storage of documents
Track document versions and maintain records of revisions
Receive, log, and distribute incoming documents
Coordinate with different departments to collect required documents
Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information
Assist in document audits and compliance checks
Retrieve documents as and when requested
Maintain document registers and trackers
Support administrative tasks related to documentation
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (any discipline)
1-3 years of experience in document handling or administration.
Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
