A Document Controller is responsible for managing and overseeing documents within an
organization, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with standards.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Document Management
: Maintain and managing both electronic and hard copy documents according to company procedures. This includes uploading, scanning, projects wise folder and organizing documents for easy retrieval.
2.
Commercial Document
: Managing commercial document controller
3.
Payment Control
: taking follow up with client & update the current status.
4.
Quality Control
: Review and update documents to ensure they are complete, accurate, and compliant with relevant standards and regulations.
5.
Collaboration
: Coordinate with various departments to facilitate the document control process, ensuring that all necessary documents are created, signed, and stored appropriately.
6.
Training and Support
: Train employees on records management procedures, including documentation, retention, retrieval, and destruction policies.
7.
Audits and Compliance
: Conduct regular audits of documents to confirm they are current and accurately reflect recorded evidence. Assist with external audits as needed.
8.
Reporting
: Create ad hoc reports for internal and external purposes, keeping track of important project documents like plans, contracts, and drawings.
