The Radiologist is responsible for interpreting medical images to diagnose and assist in the treatment of patient conditions. The role includes working with various imaging modalities such as X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, Ultrasound, and other diagnostic tools to provide accurate reports and support clinical decisions.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, etc.)
Provide accurate and timely radiological reports for referring physicians
Collaborate with clinicians to discuss imaging results and suggest further diagnostic steps or treatments
Ensure imaging quality, patient safety, and adherence to radiation protection protocols
Monitor and guide radiology technicians to maintain imaging standards
Stay updated with advancements in imaging techniques and radiological technology
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all radiological procedures
Participate in audits, quality assurance, and departmental meetings
Support emergency radiological assessments when required
Key Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging techniques and anatomy
Expertise in interpreting radiological data accurately
Good communication skills for reporting and team coordination
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and observational skills
Comfortable working in high-pressure, emergency situations
Familiarity with PACS, RIS, and hospital information systems
Work Conditions:
May require shift-based duties including on-call support
May involve work in OPD, inpatient, and emergency settings
Exposure to radiation with proper safety protocols in place

Pay: ₹33,534.76 - ₹163,867.90 per month
