Provide

initial assessment, stabilization, and treatment

of patients in emergency, ICU, and wards. Monitor in-patients, document clinical progress, and update senior consultants regularly. Handle medical and surgical emergencies and initiate appropriate management until specialist intervention. Attend patient rounds, review investigation reports, and implement treatment plans as per consultant instructions. Ensure accurate documentation of case notes, discharge summaries, and clinical records as per

NABH standards

. Respond promptly to medical calls, codes (Code Blue, Code Red, etc.), and critical situations. Supervise and guide nursing staff in patient care. Coordinate with diagnostic services (lab, radiology) to facilitate timely investigations. Maintain effective communication with patients' relatives, providing updates with empathy and professionalism. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control practices, and patient safety protocols.
