Job Description

Preventative Maintenance:

Regularly inspecting and servicing medical equipment, HVAC systems,

Plumbing fixtures, electrical systems, fire safety equipment, and other building components to prevent breakdowns.

Emergency Repairs:

Responding promptly to urgent maintenance issues like electrical outages,

Plumbing leaks, equipment malfunctions, and addressing them efficiently to minimize disruption to patient care.

Building Maintenance:

Performing minor repairs to building structures including walls, floors, ceilings, doors, windows, and painting as needed.

Equipment Installation and Calibration:

Installing new medical equipment, calibrating existing equipment, and ensuring proper functionality according to manufacturer guidelines.

Compliance Management:

Adhering to all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and healthcare standards related to facility maintenance.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs completed, equipment status, and submitting reports to the maintenance supervisor.

Vendor Management:

Coordinating with external contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and quality work.
