Conducting thorough neurological examinations of patients to diagnose and treat disorders of the nervous system.
Developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual patients including medication management, lifestyle modifications, therapy and/or surgical intervention.
Providing compassionate and effective care to patients with neurological conditions, monitoring their progress and making adjustments to treatment as necessary.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals including neurosurgeons, psychiatrists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists to provide holistic care to patients.
Stay updated about the latest developments in neurological education and research activities.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and progress reports.
Respond to neurological emergencies and provide timely intervention and management.
Offer education and counselling to patients and their families regarding their neurological condition, prognosis and treatment options.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing the delivery of neurological care and patient outcomes.
Adhere to ethical standards and professional guidelines governing the practice of medicine.
