DM Plant Operator

Experience:

Qualification:

ITI / Diploma (Chemical / Mechanical) preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Operate, monitor, and maintain the DM (Demineralization) Plant Ensure consistent production of DM water as per required quality standards Monitor water quality parameters such as

pH, conductivity, TDS, and silica

Carry out

cation and anion resin regeneration

as per standard operating procedures Handle chemicals like

Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) and Caustic Soda (NaOH)

safely Operate and maintain pumps, valves, pipelines, and instruments Identify abnormalities and take

immediate corrective actions

Maintain daily

log sheets and operational records

Monitor water and chemical consumption Follow

EHS and safety guidelines

strictly Coordinate with shift in-charge / utility engineer and submit daily reports

Skills & Knowledge Required:

Hands-on experience in DM Plant operation Knowledge of resin regeneration and troubleshooting Familiarity with conductivity meter and pH meter Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge Awareness of safety practices related to chemical handling
