The Deputy Manager - Finance plays a pivotal role within the finance team and is responsible for supporting financial planning, analysis, reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. This position reports to the Finance Manager or Senior Manager - Finance and oversees accounting operations, budgeting, financial audits, and provides financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review financial statements and reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results.
Monitor cash flow and fund flow to ensure optimal financial health.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal control processes.
Manage statutory compliance including TDS, GST, and tax return filings.
Support budgeting and forecasting activities in alignment with organizational goals.
Coordinate financial audits, liaise with external auditors, and implement audit findings.
Oversee tax compliance, vendor payments, payroll, and other routine financial operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Finance or a professional certification such as CMA or CA-Inter (preferred).
Minimum 10 years of experience, preferably in the infrastructure sector.
Proven experience in cash flow management, banking operations, and handling project finances.
Strong background in budgeting and costing processes.
