Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive

Django Developer

to join our technology and digital solutions team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, improving, and maintaining high-quality web applications that support our diagnostic and healthcare operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using

Django

and related frameworks. Design and implement efficient database structures using

PostgreSQL/MySQL

. Build RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance. Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, operations, product) to implement new features. Maintain clear documentation of code, architecture, and processes. Ensure security, data protection, and compliance with industry standards. Participate in code reviews and development planning. Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. Strong hands-on experience with

Python

,

Django

, and Django Rest Framework (DRF). Proficiency in

HTML, CSS, JavaScript

, and AJAX. Experience with

SQL databases

and

ORMs

. Knowledge of Git/GitHub version control. Understanding of API development and third-party integrations. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, Azure). Understanding of Docker and containerized environments. Experience with healthcare or diagnostics domain (added advantage).
