About the Role



We are looking for a skilled Django Developer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Python, Django, and REST APIs, with the ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications.



Key Responsibilities



Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Django (MVT architecture).



Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration across systems.



Work with databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), writing optimized queries and ensuring data integrity.



Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and deliver features.



Optimize application performance, conduct unit testing, and ensure code quality.



Deploy and manage applications on cloud environments (Azure/AWS).



Use version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker) for efficient delivery.



Apply Python automation and scripting to streamline tasks and improve efficiency.



Contribute to Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and daily scrums.



Required Skills



Strong programming skills in Python with experience in Django (mandatory).



Hands-on experience with Flask/FastAPI (preferred).



Experience with REST API design & integration.



Good knowledge of PostgreSQL/MySQL and database schema design.



Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript for basic front-end integration.



Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and containerization (Docker).



Knowledge of Numpy, Pandas for data manipulation (added advantage).



Experience working in Agile development environments using JIRA or similar tools.



Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.



3-5 years of proven experience as a Python/Django Developer.
