Designation: District Program Coordinator (DPC) Location: Ajmer, Barmer, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jalor, Jodhpur, Kota, Pali, Rajsamand, Shirohi, Udaipur districts of Rajasthan Employment Period: Minimum One year Bharatiya Jain Sanghatana (BJS) is a non-government, non-profit making organization with a legacy of 38 years of work in Education, Disaster Management, Water, and other Social Programs. For more details visit www.bjsindia.org Job Overview: The District Program Coordinator (DPC) will manage all operational aspects of the program implementation in the assigned district. He will be the Single Point of Contact for managing all the Program Operations in the respective District. He needs to travel to his assigned area for the purpose of successful implementation of the program/s. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the successful implementation of the program in the assigned district. Managing all aspects of the program from inception to completion in the assigned district. Coordinating and attending meetings with district administration, block-level officials, gram panchayats, Implementing partners, villagers, and other stakeholders for the implementation of the various programs. Coordination with BJS office bearers and volunteers at the district level for the successful implementation of the program. Showcasing and promoting BJS programs in the assigned district. Coordination and daily updates of the program progress to the BJS Head Office. Collecting and updating field data in the software on a daily basis. Periodic monitoring and checking of the progress of the implemented program. Documentation, data collection, photography, and reporting of respective events, meetings, and activities of the program. DPC will assist in assessing the impact of the implemented program/s. Conducting training of the relevant stakeholders in assigned districts. DPC should be flexible and ready to shoulder the responsibility given by BJS from time to time. Qualifications and Experience: Any Graduate. A Master\'s degree in social work will be considered as an advantage. Minimum 3 years of experience in program implementation in the social sector. Candidates having background and experience in implementation of WASH (Water, Sanitation, Hygiene) Programs will be preferred. Experience working in rural and semi-urban areas. Experience of working with govt. departments and officials. Should preferably be between 25 to 40 years of age. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Interpersonal skills, networking skills, listening skills, and communication skills. Multi-tasker, flexible, and adaptable for accepting changes. Operational knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Android apps. Stakeholder management skills and ability to motivate people. Monitoring ability, data collection ability, and documentation & and report writing skills. Understanding of local language, Hindi, and working knowledge of English. Should be ready for extensive travel.
