As a Disposition Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring dimensional quality and compliance throughout the product development lifecycle. You will drive decision-making in disposition activities, support advanced quality planning, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver products that meet or exceed customer and industry standards.

What You Will Do
Lead disposition activities, driving decisions on changes to tools, products, or drawings.
Developing measurement strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.
Develop and implement measurement plans and strategies in line with project and customer requirements.
Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) Disposition Phase activities and contribute to qualification plans and PPAP packages.
Identify gaps in product development and quality processes, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
Coach and support the Product Development team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement in dimensional disposition processes.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
5-10 years of experience in product development for quality functions, with exposure to in-process, metrology and APQP activities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to anticipate, plan, and self-monitor workload.
Proficient in problem-solving techniques (e.g., 5-Why, 8D, fishbone diagram).
Working knowledge of measurement software (e.g. Calypso, Volume Graphics)
Solid understanding of dimensional control principles (datum coordination, GD&T).
What Will Put You Ahead
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
3-5 years in Automotive Quality Engineering or new product introduction.
Advanced knowledge of Six Sigma tools, FMEA, SPC, MSA and GD&T.
Training in Design of Experiments and internal auditing (QS/TS/IATF 16949).
Experience with stamping, molding, or assembly plants.
Volume Graphics programming experience.
ASQC Certification (CQE).
Metrology knowledge, including CT scanning and various measurement methods.
Familiarity with 3D/2D tolerance analysis and plastic manufacturing processes.
Strong understanding of electrical connector part functions.
