Dispatch Officer
to manage day-to-day dispatch and logistics operations in the
FMCG sector
. The role involves ensuring smooth, timely, and accurate delivery of products while maintaining clear coordination between warehouse, sales, and transport teams.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Plan and manage daily dispatch schedules for FMCG products.
Monitor and coordinate vehicle movement and delivery timelines.
Prepare, verify, and maintain all dispatch and shipment documents.
Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and tracking of all consignments.
Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams for smooth operations.
Supervise loading and unloading processes.
Maintain records of dispatched goods and ensure inventory accuracy.
Handle field-related dispatch issues and resolve delivery delays.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum
5 years of experience
in dispatch, logistics, or supply chain (FMCG preferred).
Strong knowledge of dispatch documentation and field coordination.
Proficiency in MS Excel and email communication.
Excellent planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage field staff.
