About the Role
We are a growing Canadian logistics company seeking a smart, proactive Driver Operations Specialist to remotely manage our fleet operations in Canada. Responsibilities
Distribute daily delivery routes to drivers
Manage driver schedules and coordinate coverage when drivers need assistance
Optimize routes for efficiency
Coordinate with delivery partners regarding package assignments
Collect pre-trip vehicle photos from drivers
Arrange mechanical and maintenance appointments for fleet vehicles
Review resumes and assist with driver recruitment via LinkedIn
Communicate with drivers throughout the day via WhatsApp to address concerns and provide support
Coordinate payroll information
Maintain positive relationships with partnered companies
Escalate driver concerns and operational issues to the ownership/management team
