Dispatch Executive - Dairy Operations

Job Summary

The Dispatch Executive is responsible for timely and accurate dispatch of dairy products while maintaining product quality, cold-chain compliance, and delivery schedules. The role requires working in rotational shifts to support continuous dairy operations.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and execute daily dispatch of milk and dairy products Ensure correct loading, quantity verification, and product freshness Coordinate with production, cold storage, transporters, and drivers Prepare and verify dispatch documents (invoice, delivery challan, LR, e-way bill) Monitor vehicle movement and ensure on-time delivery Maintain cold-chain standards during dispatch and transportation Handle dispatch-related issues such as delays, shortages, or damages Maintain accurate dispatch records and shift-wise reports Follow food safety, hygiene, and company quality standards

Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of dairy logistics and cold-chain handling Good coordination and communication skills Basic computer skills (MS Excel / ERP / dispatch systems) Ability to work in rotational shifts, including nights Attention to detail and ability to work under time pressure

Qualifications

Graduate / Diploma (any stream) 1-3 years of experience in dispatch/logistics (dairy/FMCG preferred)

Rotational shifts (including early morning / night shifts) Plant / warehouse-based role Physically active environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
