Maintain an
outward register
to record items sent with drivers.
2. Drivers Form Verification
Driver Checklist Verification
:
Verify driver forms for accurate details such as vehicle number, dispatch time, and delivery schedule.
Cross-check the loaded items with the driver's checklist for order accuracy.
Ensure drivers have signed for receipt of crates, boxes, and products.
Driver Documentation
:
Confirm all required permits and vehicle documents are in place.
Monitor the driver's log for trip details, fuel usage, and route taken.
3. Damage and Return Book Verification
Damaged Crates/Boxes
:
Inspect returned crates and boxes for damages and record them in the
damage register
.
Determine the usability or need for replacement of damaged items.
Return Product Verification
:
Verify and record all returned products in the
return book
, noting the reason for return (e.g., expired, damaged, or customer rejection).
Ensure proper segregation of return products for quality checks and disposal if necessary.
4. Order-Wise Product Volume Verification
Order Preparation
:
Verify that the products are packed according to the order's quantity and type.
Ensure that the total volume matches the delivery slip and invoice.
Loading Verification
:
Cross-check product volumes loaded onto delivery vehicles against order details.
Ensure proper stacking and arrangement of crates and boxes to prevent damage during transit.
5. Return Products Verification
Reconciliation
:
Verify the number of returned items against the delivery and return forms.
Ensure drivers provide valid reasons and supporting documents for product returns.
Quality Inspection
:
Inspect returned products to classify them as
reworkable

Record findings in the

Feedback Loop
