Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the dispatch operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Strategically plan and manage logistics, transportation, and customer service. Coordinate with production, sales, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure alignment of dispatch activities. Monitor and analyze transportation costs, delivery schedules, and dispatch performance metrics. Maintain accurate dispatch documentation including invoices, gate passes, e-way bills, and challans. Ensure all shipments comply with company policies and government regulations. Handle a dispatch team of 15+ members, ensuring training, performance, and operational efficiency. Supervise vehicle scheduling, route planning, and fleet management.
Work closely with ERP systems (Tally, Odoo, SAP, etc.) for dispatch planning, inventory updates, and documentation

Continuously improve processes to enhance dispatch efficiency and reduce delivery turnaround time.

Key Requirements:

6 to 8 years of relevant experience in dispatch/logistics operations in a

manufacturing plant

. Currently functioning as the

Head of Dispatch

. Proven experience in leading and managing a dispatch team of 15+ personnel. Experience in a company with a

turnover of ?250 crore or more

is

mandatory

. Proficient in ERP systems - must have hands-on experience with

Tally and/or Odoo

. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Good understanding of supply chain and logistics practices. Ability to work under pressure and resolve operational issues swiftly.

Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or related field. Certification in logistics or supply chain management is an added advantage.
