The Dispatch Executive is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and monitoring the movement of goods, vehicles, or personnel to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and dispatch drivers/vehicles to customer locations according to delivery requirements.
Track and monitor shipments in real time to ensure on-time delivery.
Communicate with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers to provide updates and resolve issues.
Handle order processing, documentation, and preparation of dispatch-related reports.
Optimize routes and schedules to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Address and resolve customer complaints or delays in coordination with relevant departments.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other dispatch data.
Support the logistics and supply chain team in daily operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree (preferred) or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in dispatch, logistics, or transportation coordination.
Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/dispatch management software (ERP/TMS).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Flexibility to work in shifts if required.
