Core responsibilities
Coordination and scheduling: Dispatching drivers, crews, or vehicles to specific locations based on schedules, customer requests, or immediate needs.
Logistics and routing: Optimizing delivery routes for efficiency and coordinating with logistics providers.
Shipment monitoring: Tracking shipments and providing status updates to customers.
Inventory management: Overseeing packing and inventory levels to ensure stock availability and accuracy before dispatch.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of all dispatch activities, including receiving, shipping, and discrepancy reports.
Problem-solving: Resolving issues that arise during the dispatch process and handling customer complaints.
