This role involves coordinating daily dispatch activities, reducing logistics costs, handling RTOs, and working on dashboards of major e-commerce platforms. The candidate will also be responsible for tracking shipments, optimizing delivery routes, and overseeing dispatch manpower on the floor.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Dispatch & Outbound Logistics Operations
Plan and manage daily dispatches based on merchant timelines and priority orders.
Execute and monitor outbound shipments, ensuring timely deliveries.
Maintain dispatch documentation including invoices, manifests, and trip details.
Create and manage trip manager logs -- from "ready to dispatch" to "out for delivery."
2. E-commerce & Dashboard Management
Handle dispatch activities across platforms like
Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra
, and others.
Work on tools such as
Unicommerce, Nimbus, Shiprocket, Picker
, and others.
Manage D2C dispatch operations through brand websites and platforms.
3. Route & Vehicle Planning
Design economical and optimized delivery routes.
Assign delivery vehicles and ensure accurate paperwork and loading activities.
Maintain minimal logistics costs while ensuring delivery efficiency.
4. Return (RTO) & COD Management
Track and manage all
RTO (Return to Origin)
shipments.
Oversee COD orders and handle settled cash flow transactions.
Coordinate reverse logistics in case of customer returns.
5. Shop Floor & Team Supervision
Supervise daily floor operations and maintain shop floor discipline.
Lead a team of
30-40 casual workers and 4 supervisors
.
Allocate tasks, optimize manpower usage, and maintain productivity standards.
6. Coordination & Reporting
Liaise with production and operations teams for finished goods dispatch.
Generate and submit
daily dispatch, order status, and RTO reports
.
Coordinate with vendors on delivery issues and customer complaints in collaboration with quality teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
2-4 years
of experience in dispatch/logistics, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
Must have handled a team in previous roles.
Familiarity with
Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart dashboards
and e-commerce order workflows.
Knowledge of
OMS/WMS systems
, logistics software, and D2C order management.
Bachelor's degree preferred; minimum education: 12th pass.
