Inventory management:
Store goods correctly, ensure proper labeling, and maintain up-to-date stock records to prevent discrepancies.
Quality control:
Perform pre-dispatch inspections to ensure the quality of goods leaving the warehouse.
Coordination and communication:
Act as a central point of contact for drivers, customers, and internal teams, addressing and resolving any issues that arise during the dispatch process.
Record keeping:
Maintain detailed logs of all dispatch activities, including shipments, invoices, and delivery statuses.
Reporting:
Prepare reports for management on dispatch operations, efficiency, and any problems encountered.
Team supervision:
May involve supervising dispatch teams, providing training, and monitoring performance.
