Job Description

Job Purpose:

To oversee and coordinate all dispatch activities ensuring timely, accurate, and safe delivery of glass products to customers and project sites. The role demands precision, speed, and coordination with production, sales, and transport teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and schedule daily dispatches as per production and customer delivery requirements. Coordinate with the production and quality teams to ensure material readiness. Verify dispatch documents - invoices, delivery challans, and e-way bills. Monitor vehicle allocation, loading, and route planning for cost and time efficiency. Ensure proper handling, packaging, and loading of glass to avoid damage during transit. Track vehicle movement and update delivery status to concerned departments. Maintain daily dispatch records and generate reports. Liaise with drivers, transporters, and customers for smooth delivery execution. Ensure compliance with safety and company standards during dispatch operations. Support continuous improvement in dispatch and logistics efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:

Graduate / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or any relevant discipline. 3-5 years of experience in dispatch/logistics preferably in a manufacturing or glass processing industry. Good knowledge of ERP systems, transport coordination, and dispatch documentation. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
Key Skills:

Strong coordination and communication skills. Time management and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple dispatches simultaneously. Knowledge of route planning and logistics cost optimization.
