Job Description

A Dispatch Executive is responsible for overseeing the dispatching process, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services, and maintaining efficient logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate Dispatch Operations

: Manage the dispatch of goods and services, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.

Monitor Shipments

: Track shipments and provide status updates, resolving any issues or discrepancies that arise during the dispatch process.

Communication

: Maintain effective communication with logistics providers, drivers, and warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations.

Record Keeping

: Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and prepare necessary reports for management.

Policy Implementation

: Implement and enforce policies and procedures to improve dispatch operations and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

Education

: A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is often preferred. Bcom, Bsc and having good computer knowledge is preferred

Experience

: Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics role is essential, typically requiring at least 2 years in a similar position.

Skills

: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with dispatch management software are crucial.
