Dispatch Executive - Solar Industry

The Dispatch Executive will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the dispatch of solar materials to project sites in a timely and accurate manner. The role involves coordination with warehouse, logistics partners, site engineers, and internal teams to ensure smooth material movement for solar projects.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Plan and manage

dispatch of solar materials

such as solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, cables, junction boxes, and other BOS items. Prepare and verify

dispatch documentation

including

delivery challans, invoices, e-way bills, LR copies, and packing lists

. Coordinate with

warehouse/store team

for material availability and packing. Liaise with

transporters and logistics vendors

for vehicle arrangement and dispatch scheduling. Track

vehicle movement and delivery status

to ensure timely delivery at project sites. Coordinate with

site engineers/project teams

regarding material requirements and delivery timelines. Maintain

dispatch records

, inward-outward registers, and daily dispatch reports. Ensure

material quantity and condition verification

before dispatch. Handle

shortage, damage, return, or replacement

of materials in coordination with procurement and stores. Update dispatch and inventory details in

ERP / Excel / inventory management systems

. Collect

POD / GRN / acknowledgment

from sites after material delivery. Ensure compliance with

GST documentation, company policies, and safety standards

.

Required Skills & Competencies

Knowledge of

dispatch operations and logistics coordination

Understanding of

e-way bills, delivery challans, GST invoices

Basic knowledge of

inventory and warehouse management

Proficiency in

MS Excel

and basic ERP systems Good coordination and follow-up skills Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple dispatches

Preferred Experience & Qualifications

Graduate / Diploma

in any discipline

1-4 years of experience

in dispatch, logistics, warehouse, or store operations Experience in

solar EPC / electrical / construction industry

preferred Candidates with experience in

solar material dispatch

will be given priority
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
