JOB DESCRIPTION



Arranging delivery of furniture to customers as well as required stores Make delivery challan and e-way bill if required. Cross-checking invoice copy and delivery challan to make sure the goods are being delivered only after complete payment is made. Ensure all invoices are generated at the warehouse during dispatch and ensure that all invoices are well documented and shared with Warehouse Admin. Ensuring that all documents from the delivery documents list are ready as per requirement and handing them over to the delivery team. Cross-checking the list of people in the delivery team with warehouse Admin (if required) and ensuring all of them are aware of the delivery schedule in advance. Ensure that the delivery vehicle and delivery team reports to you and; as a dispatch manager it is your responsibility to know where each team is. Ensure that all the inbound inventory is checked and arranged appropriately in the warehouse & updated on the ERP software. Coordinating with the driver and arranging for delivery. Ensure that the delivery team does not take unscheduled breaks (tea, snacks, etc.) during regular delivery trips. Ensure that the delivery feedback form is filled by the customer and the filled-up forms are submitted to the CRA. Ensure that the warehouse is clean and organized at all times. Report the stock pile-up from product exchanges to the warehouse manager. Taking signature of goods dispatched Once delivery is done, coordinating for any repairs or touch-ups to be done on-site and sending the required team or person. Ensuring that deliveries are done as per the timeline given to the customer. Ensuring that the team returns on time after the delivery. Once the delivery has been completed, provide an update to the Store Administrator or Sales Partner regarding the same. In case the product despatched is sent back by the customer due to minor damages, it needs to be intimidated by the Warehouse Manager, and an appropriate solution needs to be decided for the same. Treat the helper/delivery staff with dignity and; in case there are any disciplinary issues with the helper/delivery staff, ensure it is escalated to the Warehouse Manager. Do not create any biases (favoritism) amongst delivery/helper staff, ensure that all staff gets equal opportunity for delivery.
