Qualification: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Bioinformatics, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 3+ years specifically administering Discoverant (deployment, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and validation in a regulated environment).
Work Timing: US (PST) Hours (Work schedule can be split into 4 hours PM (IST) and 4 hours AM (PST) working hours once KT (Knowledge Transfer) days are completed for new Joiners - depending on daylight saving)

Discoverant System Administrator
with proven expertise in supporting manufacturing and quality operations in the biopharma/life sciences domain. The role will be responsible for deployment, configuration, system upgrades, maintenance, and performance optimization of the Discoverant platform across multiple environments (Development, Validation, UAT, Production). The administrator will collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, QA, Manufacturing, and Analytics groups to ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11), and business continuity. This position also involves supporting CPV dashboards, system integrations, validation activities, and end-user training in alignment with FDA and industry standards._
Key Responsibilities:
Deploy, configure, and administer BIOVIA Discoverant in validated environments.* Maintain and optimize connections with ERP (SAP/Oracle), MES, LIMS, and other data sources.* Support Continued Process Verification (CPV) dashboards, SPC, and analytics workflows.* Manage IAM user access, Secret Key configurations, and AD group cleanups.* Perform periodic system activities: SSL certificate updates, password rotations, backups/restores, and disaster recovery.* Conduct server/system maintenance (semi-annual) and license updates (annual).* Collaborate with IT to manage Citrix servers, CrowdStrike, and security patches.* Support AWS instances and Linux OS upgrades for Discoverant database servers.* Update and maintain compliance documentation (SOPs, validation deliverables, audit trails).* Assist with validation (IQ/OQ/PQ), training material creation, and end-user training.* Provide L3 support and mentor L2 support teams.* Participate in upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.*
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with BIOVIA Discoverant administration (PRIMR, Hierarchies).* Expertise in Windows Server, SQL Server and scripting (PowerShell/Python).* Solid understanding of GxP, 21 CFR Part 11 and Data Integrity requirements.* Experience with CPV, SPC and manufacturing analytics.* Knowledge of integration with ERP/MES/LIMS systems (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle EBS).* Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure) for hosting and managing Discoverant.* Strong troubleshooting and system performance optimization skills.*
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with Kinaxis Rapid Response, Starburst and Pipeline Pilot applications.* Experience with Change Control, Incident/Problem Management and Validation Lifecycle.* Exposure to FDA-regulated environments and CSV/CSA methodologies.* Knowledge of system security tools and patching (e.g., CrowdStrike).*
