The Fire Fighting Lead is responsible for the design, engineering, and coordination of fire protection systems for industrial and commercial projects. This role involves close collaboration with clients, vendors, insurance agencies, and contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.

Project Understanding & Planning:


Review client inputs and attend project meetings to understand scope and requirements.


Develop and manage deliverable schedules aligned with project timelines.

Design & Documentation:


Prepare Design Basis Reports and overall fire protection philosophies.


Develop detailed layouts for Fire Fighting Systems including:


Hydrant, Sprinkler, Spray, and Foam Systems


Fire & Gas Detection and Alarm Systems


Extinguisher Locations and Cause & Effect Matrices

Technical Specifications & Procurement:


Prepare RFQs, technical specifications, and data sheets for fire protection components.


Generate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for fire fighting and detection systems.


Conduct Technical Bid Analysis and evaluate vendor proposals.

Coordination & Compliance:


Liaise with clients, insurance agencies, OEMs, and contractors to ensure alignment and compliance.


Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and insurance requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:


Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.


Proven experience in fire protection system design and engineering.


Familiarity with NFPA, FM Global, and other relevant standards.


Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and fire protection design software.


Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
