Role Overview - DISA Maintenance & Service Engineer
We are looking for a
hands-on Maintenance & Service Engineer
with experience in
DISA High Pressure Moulding Lines, Wheelabrator Shot Blasting Equipment, and Foundry Dust Extraction Systems.
The candidate will be responsible for
machine assessments, preventive & predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and recommending spares/wear parts
. You will also
coordinate with DISA Bangalore
for sourcing and technical alignment, while ensuring customers achieve
maximum productivity, energy efficiency, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Perform
preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance
on:

DISA High Pressure Moulding Lines (Vertical moulding machines, Flaskless moulding lines, Matchplate moulding technology, Automated moulding lines, Green sand moulding).
+
DISAMATIC D1, D3-A/B/X, D5-B/C/Z, 2110 Mk4, DISA 231-A/B/X, 230-A, 131-B, 2130-B/C, 240-B/C, 2120-C, 250-C, 270-A/B, MATCH 20/24, 2032
, and legacy systems (
2110 Mk1-Mk3, DISA 130-A/B, 131-A, 230-B/X, 2011, 2013 Mk1-Mk5, DISAMATIC 2120-B, 2070 Mk1-Mk2, MATCH 130
(industrial dust collection, fume extraction, baghouse & cartridge filters, workplace air quality improvement, emission control).
+ Complementary DISA equipment (
Flasklines, Sand Mixers, Cooling Drums
). Conduct
root cause analysis (RCA)
and propose corrective/preventive actions to
minimize downtime
and extend equipment life.
Provide
consultative support
to customers on:

Foundry productivity improvement
+
Energy-efficient moulding systems
+
Pattern change systems
+
Consistent, defect-free casting production
Liaise with
DISA Bangalore and Norican Group ecosystem
(DISA, Wheelabrator, Italpresse Gauss, StrikoWestofen, Simpson, Monitizer) for sourcing, technical clarifications, and escalations.
Enforce
safety compliance, SOP adherence, and safe work permits
to maintain zero-incident performance.
Prepare
detailed service reports, stock/parts requirements
, and share actionable insights with customers' maintenance heads.
Candidate Profile
B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering.
2-3 years of experience in
foundry maintenance/service roles
with
DISA, Wheelabrator, or equivalent foundry equipment
.
Proven skills in
DISA High Pressure Moulding Solutions (DISAMATIC, Matchplate, Green Sand), Wheelabrator shot blasting, dust collectors, and complementary foundry equipment.
