As the Director, Strategic Projects, you will lead high-impact initiatives that transform and optimize MSD global operations and supply chain.
You Will Make an Impact by driving strategic programs that enhance efficiency, resilience, and sustainability across planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution. You will partner with regional and global leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure programs are executed on time/on cost and deliver targeted financial savings.
Principal responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
Define and execute the roadmap for strategic supply chain and operations initiatives aligned with corporate goals.
Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver complex, multi-year programs
Program Management
Oversee planning, execution, and governance of strategic projects across procurement, supply chain and operations.
Establish KPIs and track performance to ensure project success.
Innovation & Transformation
Identify opportunities for digitalization, automation, and advanced analytics in supply chain processes.
Drive adoption of emerging technologies and best practices.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with senior executives and external partners to align strategies and deliver results.
Communicate project outcomes and recommendations to leadership.
Risk & Compliance
Assess supply chain & operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Skills You Bring:
Proven track record of managing large-scale, strategic projects.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Expertise in supply chain technologies (ERP, TMS, WMS, advanced analytics).
Ability to inspire, influence, and drive change across diverse teams.
Level of formal education (if needed), license/certification, etc.: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Years of job-related work experience: 10+ years in supply chain management, consulting, or operations with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
