Our Solution Engineering organization is seeking a Director, Solution Engineering to lead our successful and growing Solution Engineering team for GCCs (Global Capability Centers) in India. In this role, you will lead a team of deeply technical solution engineers in India across multiple cities who work directly with our top WW customers having a GCC presence in India. The nature of work requires understanding the business goals of these customers, their technical landscape, the right technical solutions that can meet business needs, the architectures of these solutions, technical or capability gaps to be addressed and how non-functional requirements such as performance, reliability, cost and so on can be met.
You and your team will be responsible for analyzing and recommending the right technical solutions on Snowflake that will meet customer business needs and additionally for helping customers build greater awareness and technical capability on Snowflake. This role being part of the Sales Organization, there will be revenue or consumption quotas to be achieved that you and your team will be accountable for and technical selling strategies to come up with to support the same. You will also be required to participate in multiple Snowflake events and conduct technical presentations, discussions, executive round tables, community sessions and so on.
The work will involve contributing deeply to value-based evaluation scenarios including demonstrations, labs, POCs, and pilots to meet business needs. You will need to work very closely with our Global Customer and Partner Sales team members across time-zones, in the US, EU and other geographies, to understand key stakeholders, the customer landscape, technical landscape, the solutions being built and the responsibility/accountability matrices. The role will need you strategize on how to navigate sales cycles, and make technical outcomes happen in order ensure business outcomes such as meeting revenue or consumption goals.
