Opportunity

Adobe Cloud Platform Engineering team develops infrastructure components and services that are used to power the cloud experiences of flagship Adobe apps such as Acrobat, Photoshop among others.

Cloud Infrastructure services include a modern k8s based platform for building, deploying, scaling and leading cloud services. The infrastructure services also include AI/ML based services including search and infrastructure services for Adobe Sensei. The team also develops several core components and libraries used by a large number of Adobe applications.

Security practices are deeply ingrained into our internal software development, operations processes, and tools. These practices are closely followed by our multi-functional teams to help prevent, detect, and respond to incidents in an expedient manner. We keep up to date with the latest threats and vulnerabilities through our collaborative work with partners, leading researchers, security research institutions, and other industry organizations. We regularly incorporate sophisticated security techniques into the products and services we offer.

We're looking for a Director of Security Engineering to manage a team of engineers and professionals within the Security organization and allow Adobe to build trust with the customers and assure them that their information is private and protected.

Role Summary

Senior leader responsible for leading and driving Enterprise Security Engineering strategy, passionate about directories, authentication. Responsible for helping the Security organization achieve its goals and initiatives through its team in India. Concentrates on secure access to and authentication for the Adobe corporate environment.

What you'll do

Drive functional service delivery, operational efficiencies, and quality of service.

Participate in the ongoing development of the global enterprise security strategy, policies, and standards.

Own an agile, highly collaborative, and hard-working team working on cyber security operations

Support employee awareness and prevention programs related to enterprise security.

Establish trust, relationships, credibility, and influence with senior leaders, and partners that expand relationships for the long run and supports our mission

Maintain and establish relationships with external vendors as well as various internal groups in cloud technology, engineering, legal, and other stakeholders.

Ensure security of data, infrastructure and also people by supervising incident response and ensuring application and enterprise security

Work on projects with vulnerability labs on various projects including not limited to Penetration testing and application development

Implement and Comply to Security Standard IT and IT security statutory requirements

Conduct security assessment, validation & clearance of developed /acquired applications

Work across teams to deliver on Adobe's business goals and create tight collaboration and coordination between matrixed teams.

Meet and exceed diversity and inclusion efforts

Mentor and guide team of security researchers, ethical hackers and engineers

As a people manager, recruit and mentor people to make them part of your team, keep organization's managers and cohorts motivated, review the team's performance and participate in management-related activities in Adobe Security in India.

Partner with business teams across the company to raise awareness of risk management concerns

What you need to succeed

B.S or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Security Engineering or equivalent.

Experience in leading enterprise scale projects and remote project personnel

18+ years of engineering and technical leadership experience including experience leading multiple levels of management.

12+ years of experience optimally managing a team

Work experience into cloud security, application security, enterprise security, cyber security, Information Security at a large scale

Detailed understanding of enterprise security concepts, practices, and procedures

Experience leading cross functional teams (security engineers and program management)

Experience with Software Development and Security and knowledge in agile practices

Should have strong knowledge and understanding of Cyber Security, risks, threats in infrastructure, network, Cloud and Data Centre Technologies, CISM or CISA a plus

Deep experience and expertise in assessing and preventing internal and external security threats, including but not limited to the prevention, investigation, and prosecution of the theft and unauthorized access to the company's intellectual property and confidential information.

Expertise in architectural and security assessments, threat modeling applications, and risk management.

In-depth understanding of the security issues that internal/external facing apps encounter, as well as the ability to describe the implications on technical and business users.

Consistent track record of developing and implementing methods to enable secure and compliant architectures.

Solid understanding of Infrastructure as code, security as code and Compliance as code
