DESCRIPTION
As a highly motivated Project Controls & Spend Manager, the candidate will work with Global Lead for Spend Management & Project Managers to drive the Project Controls for delivering project processes and controls in the area of complex, and geographically dispersed real estate project design, development, infrastructure engineering and construction projects.

The candidate will co-ordinate for and provide program level financial controls, standards and tools to support project management of largescale capital programs, ongoing workplace improvements and infrastructure projects, The ideal candidate will have experience working on largescale capital portfolio and be able to manage ambiguity and demonstrate problem solving skill with limited oversight.

The candidate should be able to challenge Budget build & Spend requests, Work with Cost Consultants and the Project Teams. Candidate is expected to have strong communication and analytical skills, connect dots on external headwinds & internal project developments, Drive story telling & narrative building and socialising them with decision makers and, also drive technology transformation and innovation

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Lead and Manage project controls for capital projects independently

Drive value working with Cost Management Lead and, the Project Manager in the following:

• Challenge Budget build & Spend requests, Work with Cost Consultants and the Project Teams.

• Connect dots on external headwinds & internal project developments; Drive story telling & narrative building and socialising them with decision makers
• Drive technology transformation and innovation; Gather requirements and deliver solutions that satisfy customer's needs for process, tools and data structure
• Drive sourcing engagement, supply side governance including detailed spend review
• Manage complete project controls process, data and tools from design phase to deployment. Including Estimating, Budgeting, Cost Management, Risk, Procurement, Change Control, Contracts, Payments and Cash flow.
• Partner with Financial Control Group (FCG) to ensure funding and accounting treatment.
• Manage and optimize reporting for metrics, dashboard and Facilitate reporting to Executive Management.
• Lead project teams on critical project related initiatives such as Value Engineering, Risk vs Contingency management workshops
• Manage financial governance for the Global Capital Program including approvals, audit and compliance
• Work with Controllers / FCG / Tax team on Capital planning, capitalisation data, tax structuring

QUALIFICATIONS
6-8 years of working experience in large financial or banking institution with Real Estate experience; MBA an added advantage.

Knowledge of largescale global real estate development projects and portfolio programs preferred., Experience of diving projects across India and regions is essentials.

Demonstrated skills in requirement gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling and cost controls.

Strong communication skills & analytical skills and proven ability to build strong relationships.
