.About the Role

Kaleris is seeking a Director of Professional Services who will play a crucial role in growing our services business. This role will have sales, delivery and people responsibility. The successful candidate will be an energetic, hands-on leader with proven experience in building and leading high performing consulting services teams in the rollout of complex software implementations. As a leader within the Professional Services team, you will play an active role in the development, sales and rollout of new services. To be selected you must be able to clearly articulate what differentiates you from your peers and why this leads to exceptional results.

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of Professional Services staff members.
• Hiring, retaining and motivating the best and brightest employees continuously improving a high performing consulting team.
• Selling and delivering high quality services deals that will lead to customer satisfaction / success.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with senior operations and IT personnel of customers and partners in the shipping supply chain industry.
• Managing a portfolio of software implementation and upgrade projects on schedule, within budget and with high customer satisfaction.
• Refining and developing methodologies, tools and programs around implementations, upgrades and other services.
• Assisting in managing the Professional Services KPI\'s including Services Revenue, Services Sales, Staff Utilization and Contribution Margin.
• Assisting in developing and implementing strategies and actions that lead to growth of the Professional Services team.
• Refining, developing and monitoring metrics to assess the performance of the Professional Services project teams as well as individuals.
• Maintaining a Professional Services automation tool to efficiently manage the business.
• Creating high quality Project quotations and supporting the License Sales team in the sales process
• Collaborating with our Engineering and Product Management on Professional Services involvement in testing and early adopter programs.
• Collaborating with the People & Culture Team to understand and comply with employment standards and cultural norms in various countries.

Location : Chennai / Remote

Education : Master\'s degree in engineering, Business, Computer Science or a related

Requirements

• Proven ability to build and lead high performing teams;
• Proven ability to manage Professional Services organizations in the enterprise software industry;
• 5+ years in successfully managing highly complex custom software development projects;
• Knowledge of port and / or container terminal information technology;
