ZAIDYN by ZS (https://www.zs.com/products/zaidyn-platform) is a Digital Life Sciences, cloud-native platform created by ZS for fluency in the full spectrum of life sciences. ZAIDYN leverages AI/ML at its core and enables a cohesive data foundation enabling advanced analytics and streamlined operations.





You will partner with business product managers and operating unit stakeholders in the design, development, and implementation of platform foundation to drive revenue, product innovation and efficiencies in our business.
Platform PM\xe2\x80\x99s are in charge of creating functionality that spans multiple product lines. These PM\xe2\x80\x99s need to understand the large strategic vision well enough to make short and long-term trade-offs across different products and evolve the platform foundation layer capabilities.

• As a director for Platform foundation, you would define and drive platform strategy and roadmap. Partner with the business product managers to develop a vision, strategy, and prioritized feature backlog for product(s)/platform.
• Evangelize long-term strategy to the development teams, the product and business teams and the broader organization.
• Be the conscience of the Platform, continuously looking at the services from an end-user\xe2\x80\x99s perspective; driving the complete experience, to best outcome possible for the end-user. Ensure the customer experience is represented as a top priority throughout all stages of development.
• Partner with Program Managers and Engineering Leadership to ensure a manageable scope that can be delivered on-time, on-budget, on-quality. Oversee the care and feeding of the platform, ensure all aspects of the platform receive attention, including technical debt and infrastructure as well as new features.
• The Platform Product Manager will need good project management skills to handle the complex dependency management and diverse stakeholders to deliver projects on time and on strategy.
• Own common data management, analytics and cross product integration roadmap and requirements. Lead the implementation of new features from ideation to release.
• Set, monitor, and review the platform features and KPIs with the stakeholders.
• Review key building blocks and suggest innovative solutions to optimize performance, scale, security, and maintenance
• Monitor, review and optimize existing features to improve the overall quality.
• Evaluate the market for emerging technology trends and technology stacks for the domain and space
• Drive the Agile scrum process for the platform teams, as a product owner
• ZAIDYN is in the hyper-growth/scale stage, and you need to be comfortable with the level of ambiguity and workload that entails.

Candidate Experience

• At least 15 years of proven Product Management experience in technical domains.
• At least 5 years of proven experience leading technical Product Management teams.
• At least 4 years of experience in data management, big data, and analytics space with focus on core platform foundation layer
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in engineering (Computer Science preferred) and Master\xe2\x80\x99s in Business Administration.
• Proven ability to build, launch large scale software platforms.
• Understand the tradeoffs between various technology choices, to build highly scalable data processing pipeline, component-based architecture, and information retrieval system
• Ability to handle many concurrent projects and proactively reprioritize to meet business and product priorities without needing guidance.
• Experience working with Engineering teams as a Product Manager and have demonstrable experience leading cross-functional teams to define, execute and iterate on large multi-team, multiquarter projects. \xe2\x80\xa2 Comfortable working with SQL or spreadsheets to analyze data, as well as conducting research with internal and external users.
• You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and can lead teams through difficult decisions.
• Be humble, willing to learn, and do whatever is needed to help us accomplish our goals.
• You must have a strong bias for action and the ability to foster a competitive, results-driven mentality in your team.
• You must be extremely persistent by nature and unwilling to let your team lose or leave problems unsolved.
• Ability to speak technical language with architects and software engineering team to convert business requirement into detailed technical requirements
• Experience driving Agile scrum or Kanban-based product development, as the product owner
• Collaborative team player, with empathy for clients and colleagues
• Experience in working with cross-functional team comprising of development, UX, professional services team and leading a team of product managers
• Outward Centric \xe2\x80\x93 managing expectation while measuring KPIs and iterating accordingly. Stressing on Customer Feedback, Market Research and Usability Studies
• Technology enthusiast with inclination towards conceptualizing, POCs, experimenting. ZS is a global consulting firm; fluency in English is required, additional fluency in at least one European or Asian language is desirable.
