Job Description

To be part of a team that Develop custom design solutions for all NPD Power Electronics products for use in Fuel cell-based power generation and Electrolyser Applications. Lead a team of Mechanical engineers to develop sheet metal parts for modules, Heatsink and Airflow design for cooling, Racks and enclosures for outdoor applications.
Role and Responsibilities:Develop Modular Mechanical systems for Power electronic products (kW - MW) Develop Racks and Enclosure for outdoor application Reliability analysis of the Design Technical guidance (Technical Guru) to the mechanical design team members Interact with sheet metal suppliers and develop & Qualify the parts Provide technical support to the NPI and Mfg. team during the Product transfer from engineering Involve and support teams to solve Mfg.Issues.

Skills and Experience:BSEE, MSEE or Ph.D 15-20 years of Industrial Experience in Large Industrial Rack based PE systems In-depth working knowledge on the sheet metal manufacturingProcess Thermal Management knowledge (Heat sink, Fan selection) on Electronic products Structural Knowledge and design for Vibration requirements Knowledge on sheet metal costing and hard tool design is preferable. Should be an expert in using Solid works and AutoCAD Knowledge on PLM/PDM is preferred. Should have knowledge on Engineering change notice and revision control process. Should have good communication skill (Verbal/Written)
