We are seeking a

Director of Technology & Platform Engineering

to lead the development of a highly scalable, secure, and resilient technology ecosystem. This leadership role will oversee backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, data systems, and DevOps to enable rapid product innovation and operational excellence. You will define long-term technical strategy, guide architecture decisions, and mentor a growing engineering team while ensuring flawless execution at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Strategy & Architecture

Define and execute the multi-year technology vision aligned with product and business growth.
Build scalable, performance-focused architectural frameworks that support complex system needs.
Set engineering standards and ensure technical decisions support reliability, innovation, and efficiency.

Backend & Distributed Systems Engineering

Design and develop robust backend services using modern frameworks such as

Django

and

Node.js

.
Create optimized APIs and service architectures that enable seamless integration and high throughput.
Drive the development of scalable

ETL pipelines

to collect, process, and maintain large structured datasets.

Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps

Architect, maintain, and optimize cloud environments leveraging

AWS services

including Lambda, API Gateway, ALB, Amplify, and supporting components.
Lead the development and improvement of CI/CD workflows and containerized deployments using

Docker

and

Kubernetes

.
Ensure platform security, observability, monitoring, and fault tolerance across systems.

Team Leadership & Talent Development

Build, mentor, and scale high-performing backend and DevOps engineering teams.
Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, documentation, and continuous improvement.
Define engineering processes, review code quality, and implement best-in-class DevOps practices.

What You Bring

Proven experience leading engineering teams and owning end-to-end technology delivery.
In-depth knowledge of backend frameworks, distributed systems, and cloud-native architecture.
Strong expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
Ability to make strategic decisions while staying hands-on with architecture and implementation.
Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strong problem-solving ability with a passion for building purposeful, scalable technology.
