Job Summary



The Director of Sales (DOS) at Akoya Hotels is the strategic leader responsible for driving top-line revenue through innovative sales strategies, aggressive market share acquisition, and the cultivation of long-term corporate partnerships. This role requires a balance of analytical revenue management and high-touch relationship building to ensure Akoya remains the preferred choice for business and leisure traveler's.

Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Sales Leadership



Develop and execute an annual

Strategic Sales Plan

that aligns with property-specific revenue goals and the broader Akoya Hotels brand vision. Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and

STR reports

to identify opportunities for growth in the transient, corporate, and group segments. Work closely with Revenue Management to optimize Average Daily Rate (ADR) and Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR).

2. Relationship & Account Management



Directly manage key corporate accounts, travel agencies, and government entities, particularly within the HITECH City (Hyderabad) and Whitefield (Bangalore) business hubs. Actively prospect for new business through outbound sales calls, site inspections, and networking at industry events. Negotiate high-value contracts and RFPs for corporate stay programs and long-stay business traveler's.

3. Team Development & Performance



Lead, mentor, and train the sales and marketing team to achieve and exceed monthly room booking and catering goals. Conduct weekly sales meetings to review the sales pipeline, conversion rates, and upcoming group business. Establish KPIs for individual team members and provide regular performance feedback.

4. Customer Experience & Brand Standards



Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all guest interactions and sales collateral reflect the "Boutique Elegance" and "Simplified Business Comfort" of Akoya Hotels. Collaborate with the Operations and F&B teams to ensure seamless execution of events and group bookings. Gather and act upon guest feedback to improve product offerings and service levels.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
