About the Organization
This family run organization, currently in its 10th year of inception was established as a living legacy to one of Indias most respected feminist leaders and practitioners, who dedicated her life to institutionalizing gender justice and workplace safety and dignity across sectors.
Over the past decade, the organization has carved a niche as a thought leader in gender-based violence prevention, feminist capacity building, youth leadership, and community-driven development in 25+ states of India and 10+ countries beyond Indian borders. Its work through education, research and advocacy is deeply embedded in field realities and has impacted a wide spectrum of stakeholders from grassroots communities, unions, domestic workers, civil society to academic institutions and government agencies.
The programs are designed with the values to empower the individual, build solidarity in community and enhance accountability at institution level. The team operates as a close-knit unit of ~15 professionals working across program design, M&E, communications, knowledge creation, fundraising, and operations.
With a strong body of work in areas like POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment), community training, and gender-based research, the organization is entering a new phase of strategic growth making this leadership hire critical.
About the Role
The Director of Program Operations will play a central role in running and shaping the organizations backend engine and programmatic roadmap. This is a senior, committed, long term and cross-cutting leadership role.
The ideal person will be a feminist in everyday life and oversee Program Monitoring and Evaluation, Resource Mobilization, Team Management, Financial Compliance and Key Stakeholder Relationships
