Profile Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Director of Production to lead the organization's end-to-end production function. This role requires mastery in cinematography, scripting, shoot execution, and production planning and implementation, along with the ability to align creative output to strategic business goals. At this level, the Director of Production will own the creative vision, drive execution excellence, mentor senior team members, and ensure that production delivers maximum impact for the brand and its clients.

Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs)

Cinematography & Creative Vision

Lead all cinematography work for projects, ensuring strong visual storytelling and artistic quality.

Direct shoots by overseeing camera work, lighting, framing, and creative aesthetics to maintain premium standards.

Scripting & Storytelling

Drive script development for campaigns, films, and branded content, ensuring scripts communicate key messages effectively.

Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to align storytelling with brand positioning and audience expectations.

Production Planning & Execution

Develop comprehensive production plans, including budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently.

Oversee pre-production, shoot management, and post-production processes to ensure smooth execution.

Implementation & Operational Excellence

Manage large-scale shoots, coordinating across teams, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless delivery.

Implement best practices and standard operating procedures that enhance quality, efficiency, and scalability of production.

Leadership & Mentorship

Mentor senior members of the production team, fostering creativity, accountability, and operational discipline.

Build a high-performing culture that balances innovation with timely delivery.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Quality of cinematography and storytelling reflected in client feedback and audience engagement.

On-time and within-budget delivery of all production projects.

Effectiveness of scripts and storytelling in communicating brand and campaign objectives.

Efficiency of shoot and production processes, minimizing delays or cost overruns.

Growth, capability development, and performance of the senior production team.

Qualifications

5-6 years of proven experience in cinematography, film production, and creative direction.

Strong expertise in scripting, shoot management, and production planning.

Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale productions across diverse formats.

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Film Production, Mass Communication, or related field.

Strong leadership, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

You Will Work Closely With

C-level executives and strategy leaders to align production output with organizational goals.

Marketing, design, and creative teams to integrate scripts and visuals into campaigns.

External vendors, agencies, and clients to ensure professional, on-brand execution of projects.

You Should Be Able To

Deliver premium-quality cinematography, scripting, and production outcomes that set industry benchmarks.

Plan and execute complex shoots and production projects independently with complete ownership.

Balance creative innovation with operational excellence to achieve both artistic and business impact.

Mentor senior production talent, ensuring the function grows sustainably.

Represent production as a strategic business partner at the leadership level.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?60,000.00 - ?70,000.00 per month
