Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced
Director of Engineering (Deployments & Delivery)
to lead and scale our technical teams responsible for on-site implementations and support engineer. This role requires strong technical depth, hands-on deployment experience, and proven leadership in managing multi-site rollouts.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
Lead field engineers responsible for IoT and location-service deployments and data/location engineers responsible for centralized processing and analytics.
Build and scale a globally distributed team, ensuring alignment across time zones (India, Canada, US and Europe countries).
Drive a culture of execution, accountability, and technical excellence.
Deployment & Delivery
Own the
end-to-end deployment lifecycle,
ensuring fast, reliable, and secure implementations.
Standardize deployment processes, playbooks, and toolkits for efficiency and repeatability.
Operational & Technical Excellence
Define and track KPIs for deployment efficiency, uptime, and client satisfaction.
Identify and remove delivery bottlenecks using automation, streamlined workflows, and better tools.
Ensure data pipelines and location-based services are scalable, secure, and optimized for real-time performance.
Provide technical oversight across IoT devices, sensor networks, mapping/location systems, and cloud infrastructure.
Customer Success Alignment
Act as a senior technical authority in client-facing deployment discussions.
Partner with customer success, product, and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and integration.
Serve as an escalation point for critical technical challenges during deployment.
Qualifications
10+ years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
Strong background in field engineering, networking and data engineering.
Track record of managing multi-site, time-critical deployments.
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth technology environments.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
