Within KES, our Koch-Glitsch division is currently hiring for a Director of Engineering and Design - India. This role is intended to be in our E&D center in Navi Mumbai, India. This person will be responsible for leading an organization of talented resources based in multiple locations within India, supporting business units across the globe.

What You Will Do

Apply Koch, Inc. Principle Based Management (PBM), to achieve business results by developing vision and implementing strategies for operational excellence in Engineering & Design.

o Mentor and develop leaders, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, while leveraging and optimizing the E&D team to support global business needs, focusing on talent development and team structuring.

o Provide guidance to ensure best practices and capability development to drive efficiency improvements through application of new technology, collaborating with global offices to execute projects efficiently and positioning India as a center of excellence: Engineering is of the right value, right quality, and right the first time.

o Take our team performance to the next level - Implement process improvements to improve KPIs: Enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality, ensuring optimal knowledge management by capturing learnings and applying new insights to drive better results, all while fostering a more collaborative environment with various stakeholders including Commercial & Project Teams, Manufacturing, Procurement, HR, and Finance.

o Demonstrate commitment to a principled, bottom-up approach to empower teams, with a proven track record of aligning capability with business vision through Key Performance Indices.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

20-25 years of experience with strong leadership skills.

o Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Mechanical and/or Chemical engineering functions as a part of a business value chain.

o Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse engineering team. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

o Communication: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to various audiences.
