Role Overview:
You will be the owner of marketing-sourced pipeline and the architect of our go-to-market strategy. This role is ideal for someone who loves funnel math, experiments, and results more than vanity metrics. You'll partner closely with sales and the management team, and over time build out a small, high-impact marketing team.
What You'll Do:
Strategy & GTM
Define and refine our ICP, segmentation, and key personas
Shape our positioning and messaging based on customer and market insights
Build and own our go-to-market plan (channels, campaigns, offers, budget)
Create a clear funnel model from lead ? opportunity ? revenue, with targets
Demand Generation
Design and run multi-channel campaigns (e.g., paid search/social, content, email, webinars/events, partner co-marketing)
Test and iterate on offers, landing pages, and audiences to drive qualified pipeline
Own and optimize website and landing page performance (conversion-focused)
Manage marketing budget with a focus on CAC, payback period, and ROI
Sales Partnership & Enablement
Work hand-in-hand with Sales leadership to align on target accounts, messaging, and follow-up SLAs
Deliver sales enablement assets: pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, battlecards
Build feedback loops from sales (win/loss, objections) into messaging and campaigns
Data, Tooling & Ops
Set up and maintain reporting & attribution (in CRM and marketing tools)
Report weekly and monthly on pipeline, channel performance, and key funnel metrics
Help shape our martech stack (e.g., marketing automation, analytics, intent tools)
Team & Leadership
Be a hands-on doer initially, then hire and manage key roles (demand gen, content, marketing ops) as we grow
Establish marketing processes, best practices, and a culture of experimentation and learning
What We're Looking For
10+ years in B2B marketing, with 4+ years focused on demand generation
Proven track record driving pipeline and revenue at a company in the $20M+ ARR range (ideally B2B SaaS or similar)
Hands-on experience designing and running paid campaigns, lifecycle/email, and content-driven programs
Strong grasp of funnel metrics (conversion rates, CAC, LTV, payback, etc.) and comfort working from a spreadsheet/model
Experience working closely with Sales leadership and aligning around shared revenue targets
Comfortable being both strategic and tactical: can set the plan and also get into the tools and do the work
Excellent communicator who can turn complex ideas into clear, compelling narrative
