About the company:

Mentoring India (MI) - Flagship Programme of Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust - BYST.



Mentoring India (MI) aims to create pool of mentors at every touch point such as financial and Government/Private Institutions. Officials at all these touch points need to be empowered with mentoring skill-sets in order to guide the potential entrepreneurs and enhance their efficacy and sustainability



Till date 8000 mentors are trained and accredited from the institutions.



They intern have outreached to 12 lakhs women and youth, counselled around 1 lakh and trained nearly 40000 and supported over 27000 businesses.

Objective of the role:

The candidate should manage the Operations the candidate will play a key role in strategizing and implementing initiatives that foster entrepreneurship, strengthen Micro Entrepreneur ecosystems, and engage with government policies and programs to drive business growth.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Incubation, Mentorship & Entrepreneurship Development (AIMS, NSDC, NCVT). Government Liaison (DPIIT, MSME Ministry, State/Centre Industries Departments) for Partnerships. Stakeholder & Donor Management.

Partnership Management and resource mobilisation:

Research, identify, and engage potential strategic partners that align with company objectives Developing and delivering presentations and pitches to prospective clients Liaison with Government and other Institute (MSME Ministry, State/Centre Industries Departments, Engineering/MBA colleges, EDII etc) for Partnerships.

Relationship Management

:

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders from partner organizations Should have strong network in the Institutions & Service club Eg: Rotary.

Operational Integration

:

Drive collaboration and integration across internal departments and with partners to ensure smooth operations and marketing initiatives.

Performance Monitoring

:



Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Development in number of Mentors, Marketing contribution, partner acquisition targets, and co-marketing campaign success.

Networking with government bodies, Banks, CSR projects, and industry clusters.

Requirements

Experience:

Minimum 10 years in incubation centers, government projects, MSME development, or related consulting roles. Strong knowledge of government schemes (Startup India, MSME Samadhan, PMEGP, Standup India, Mentoring Programs, etc.). Experience in fundraising and proposal development. Understanding of business models, financial planning, and market access strategies for MSMEs. Networking with government bodies, Banks, CSR projects, and industry clusters.

Required Skills & Qualification:

A bachelor's degree in business, marketing related field is often required Excellent communication, networking, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Should have experience in Entrepreneur / Volunteer Project management Preferably the candidate should know multi language, English, Hindi
