Experience - 15 to 25 Years( 10 years of direct experience, or 15 years in a related area)

Qualification -Ph.D. or Masters degree with progressive experience in IQAC/student services functional capacity within a higher education institution.

Salary -upto 2 lacs per month

JOB SUMMARY: Internal Quality Assurance Cell Director is directly responsible for the development of quality culture in the institution through Internal Quality Assurance Committee. It is the prime responsibility of IQAC Director to initiate, plan and supervise various activities that are necessary to increase the quality of the education imparted in the University. Director is also responsible for development and maintenance of institutional data base through MIS for the purpose of maintaining and enhancing the institutional quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Development of quality benchmarks/parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution and carry out the gap analysis for Chandigarh University.

Oversee all aspects of QA including metrics, new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.

Establish formal QA processes, ensuring that team is using industry -Accepted best practices.

Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process carrying out periodic check of course outcome attainment and action taken from each faculty and its mapping on to POs, PEOs.

Monitor the action taken by departments on feedback response from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.

Dissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education
