Role Summary:

We're seeking a hands-on leader to run our

Implementation & Technical Services

function. You will own the technical execution required to activate customer sites--leading on-site and off-site teams responsible for hardware installation, commissioning/calibration, configuration, parameter fine-tuning, testing/acceptance, and technical issue resolution through go-live.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and scale the Implementation/Technical Services team (field technicians, deployment engineers, and technical specialists). Own end-to-end technical implementation for deployments: site readiness, install, commissioning/calibration, configuration, validation, and go-live support. Establish technical standards and playbooks (checklists, QA gates, acceptance criteria, documentation). Manage regional execution, scheduling, and escalation support for deployments. Coordinate with Project Delivery/PMO on plans, risks, timelines, and customer communications. Partner with Product/Engineering on technical requirements, defect escalation, field learnings, and release readiness. Ensure safety, compliance, and quality practices for all on-site work. Drive continuous improvement to reduce repeat visits, rework, and time-to-activate.

What You'll Bring

15+ years in implementation/deployment/field engineering/technical services roles in B2B technology. 5+ years leading teams (field teams and/or technical specialists), including managing managers is a plus. Strong experience with on-site deployments involving hardware, networking, sensors/IoT, or complex physical environments. Proven ability to run commissioning/calibration activities and troubleshoot system performance in real-world conditions. Comfortable with configuration, scripting, and light code-level changes as needed to support site activation (within defined controls). Strong operational discipline: planning, prioritization, documentation, and escalation management. Excellent communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
