Position: Director - Finance

Experience: 25 to 30 Years

Education: Qualified CA

Location: Vellore, Tamil Nadu

Reporting to: Managing Director

Team Size: 10-15 (Finance & Admin. Team)

This position will be responsible for all the financial operations of the company. This includes the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement the company\'s financial goals, objectives, and budgets. Oversee all financial and accounting operations and guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.

2. Understand and mitigate key elements of the company\'s risk profile. Monitor all open legal issues involving the company and legal issues affecting the industry.

3. Oversee the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities, including the company\'s budget, revenue, expense, payroll, and building relationships with lending institutions and investors.

4. Ensure compliance with all tax and financial regulations.

5. Direct the Finance and accounting team and ensure their ongoing professional development and training. Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team.

6. Overall responsible for total management of Finance, Budgeting, Strategic planning for new expansions, Accounts, MIS, Taxation.

7. Financial planning and analysis, cash flow management, short term and long-term borrowings, fund management, investments, project financing and dis-investments and development of strategic business models, identifying risks and deficiencies.

8. Forecast short term and long-term financial needs of the company based on business plan and projects on hand, identify sources and mobilise funds at a low cost.

Experience and Qualifications:

1. CA with 25+ years of experience in a similar position.

2. Proven experience as CFO or similar role with Manufacturing Industry.

3. Strong understanding of finance law and complex financial management.

4. Excellent knowledge of SAP, Data analysis and forecasting methods.

5. Proficient in the use of MS Office, Power BI and financial management software.

6. An analytical mind with a strategic ability.

7. Tamil and English language proficiency is necessary + Hindi language proficiency will be an additional advantage.
