Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversity HBT Regional Growth (E4E or East for East) Engg Leader Roles & Responsibilities: .Accountable for regional growth through incubating a pipeline of local/regional products and offerings. .Responsibility spans in driving growth across Rest of Asia (ROA) geography including India, ASEAN, Korea and Japan markets, and taking the local/ regional products to other regions across the world. .Be the customer facing technology leader for all ROA opportunities for Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT) and establish relationships that will help Honeywell grow its presence in the ROA market. .Work jointly with engineering, sales, offer marketing teams and co-create with customers to ensure a healthy pipeline of ideas to be converted into new products driving organic growth. .Provide technical leadership, guidance to create products which meets the cost and specification needs of the targeted customer segment. .Enable swift market & technology actions through customer centric innovation, rapid prototyping and customer validation like any successful start-up. .Closely work with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery excellence in all programs being executed with key focus on speed to market and quality. .Drive greater efficiency through using cross-functional teams to deliver NPI and customization, Value Engineering/Component Engineering projects. .Leverage common connected platforms which shall enable to deliver additional features/services. .Setup tracking and review mechanisms for the pipeline ideas and projects. Mentor and coach team Engg and Offering team on productization, commercialization and roadmaps. Qualifications/Skills needed: .Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science/Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. .Minimum of 15+ years ranging in areas of solution consulting, product development, and product engineering experience, with at least 5+ years in leadership positions. .Product and domain expertise in Buildings or Industrial market segments. .Strong experience of introducing new products into the market, right from the concept of the idea to commercial success. .Strong social skills with the ability to facilitate diverse groups, help negotiate priorities, and resolve conflicts among project partners. .A proven tracking record to develop products for regional and local products will be beneficial. .Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams (business, manufacturing, sourcing, engg and offering management teams). .Zeal to learn and master new technologies, tools, and practices. Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness, even in the face of complexity.
