Key Responsibilities
Direct video shoots, ensuring creative vision and production quality are achieved.
Collaborate with writers, producers, cinematographers, and editors to bring ideas to life.
Lead the creative process from pre-production to final delivery.
Provide direction to crew and talent during shoots to achieve the desired performance and visuals.
Edit or assist in editing content using professional software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
Oversee post-production, including review of edits, color, and sound design.
Ensure all deliverables align with brand, creative, and technical standards.
Stay updated on industry trends, storytelling techniques, and editing innovations.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum
2 years of experience
as a Director in film, digital media, advertising, or related fields.
Strong
editing proficiency
(Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or equivalent).
Excellent storytelling, visual composition, and pacing skills.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively with creative teams and clients.
Knowledge of post-production workflows and technical formats.
Creative problem-solving skills and ability to work under deadlines.
Preferred Experience
Experience in commercials, branded content, music videos, or digital-first content.
Knowledge of motion graphics, color grading, and sound design is a plus.
A strong portfolio/reel showcasing both directing and editing work.
