Read more: careers.bms.com/working-with-us. Summary: Trusted senior thought-partner who is a member of the DS/AI/BIR and BIA Hyderabad leadership teams. The team lead will play an integral role in developing the new Hyderabad site, hiring and cultivating top talent in the areas of Data Science/AI, Decision Intelligence and Business Intelligence. Through the build-out of BIA capabilities at scale, the leader will leverage innovative ways of working, applied analytical solutions and user-centric design principles to enable data-driven decision making. This creative, solutions-oriented leader will effectively engage senior BIA Stakeholders, navigate technical, business complexity and efficiently prioritize extensive, analytical demand. Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage a group of ~75 to 100 people across multiple teams, providing global, analytical solutions to BIA\'s functional groups across Data Science/AI, Decision Intelligence and BI/Reporting

• Lead the hiring and training for relevant BIA teams, playing a key role in designing career development opportunities and creating a culture of connectivity and value-generating work within the Hyderabad teams

• Develop and maintain close alignment of Hyderabad and global BIA priorities and standards by ensuring the delivery of customized analytical solutions to drive business growth and implementing ways of working that create efficiencies within a global operating model

• Engage in thought partnership with senior leadership across BIA to establish and develop the Hyderabad site

Skills and Competencies

• Proficiency in advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, natural language processing, data mining, statistical analysis, and expertise in UI/UX design principles and tools

• Strong creative problem-solving skills and business acumen, with the ability to identify key findings from disparate data sources to provide recommendations

• Strong verbal/written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with & strategically impact senior leadership

• Strong project management, prioritization and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead diverse teams, influence cross functionally and manage in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Experience

• We welcome a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s (MBA preferred; quantitative area)
• 10+ years pharmaceutical industry experience
• Experience managing/leading team(s) supporting global enterprise
• Experience building and developing new analytical teams
• Experience operating successfully in a complex organizational environment
• Experience interacting with senior management
• Experience with relevant analytical tools and data platforms such as Python, R, SQL, Tableau, MicroStrategy, AWS \xe2\x80\x93 UI/UX prototyping experience a plus
• Knowledge of global data privacy and regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical data and advanced analytics
